ROADBIM (CDTI - FEDER INTERCONECTA 2016)
Designing and developing BIM technologies to validate and manage road building projects, road operation and road infrastructure safety management.
The project (ROAD-BIM), developed by a consortium formed by the companies SACYR, TYPSA, APLITOP and Apogea, has the overall objective of ensuring that road building projects are more effective throughout their life cycle by applying BIM technology during the information management processes required for their implementation.
As experts in the IFC model and co-developers of the IFCRoad scheme for roads in the Building Smart International project, Apogea brings the project the necessary knowledge base to design, develop and validate various specific software applications used in the different stages of the life cycle of roads (design, construction and operation). To do this, we harness the potential and possibilities offered by BIM technology, allowing us to effectively manage the information required for the overall development of this kind of project.
